EASTERN Students Win at SkillsUSA State Competition

Twenty-four students from Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) in Willow Grove competed in their skill areas or with their leadership proficiency at the SkillsUSA State Competitions held April 18, 19 and 20 at the Hershey Convention Center. Students from all over Pennsylvania took part in the competition. SkillsUSA is a national student leadership organization that encourages students to be productive individuals in
our democratic society, work to their potential, become responsible, be proud of their accomplishments and supportive of their community. Medalists from EASTERN include:

Silver Medal Winners – Opening & Closing Ceremonies: Gabbi Ott, EASTERN Commercial Art/Abington senior; Olivia Hepner, EASTERN Commercial Art/Springfield senior; Rowan Klotzbach, EASTERN Veterinary Science/Hatboro-Horsham junior; Shane Taggart, EASTERN Electrical Technology/Upper Dublin junior; Abby Martin, EASTERN Electrical Technology/Jenkintown senior; Erin Cass, EASTERN Welding Technology /Hatboro-Horsham junior; Jay Stingel, EASTERN Commercial Art/Upper Dublin senior; Joanne Scott, EASTERN Commercial Art/Hatboro-Horsham junior.
