EASTERN Students Win at SkillsUSA State Competition

SkillsUSA StatesTwenty-four students from Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) in Willow Grove attended the SkillsUSA State Competition in Hershey, PA from April 12 through April 14, 2023. Students from all over Pennsylvania took part in the competition. SkillsUSA is a national student leadership organization that encourages students to be productive individuals in our democratic society, work to their potential, become responsible, be proud of their accomplishments and be supportive of their community. Medalists from EASTERN include:

 

Gold Medal Winners:

Career Pathways of Allied Health – EASTERN Allied Health students, Jacob Abate from Jenkintown High School;  Ricando Davis, from Cheltenham High School; Aja Foster from Abington Senior High School, and Trinity Simpson, from Upper Dublin High School.

Promotional Bulletin Board  EASTERN Design, Photography and Illustration students, Carolyn Keim from Jenkintown High School; Kahlan Yaskowski from Springfield Township High School, and Yuliana Gryb from Upper Moreland High School.

Employment Application Process – Luis Ramos McMahon, EASTERN Welding Technology/Abington Senior High School

Internetworking – Tyler Wildgust, EASTERN Networking and Cybersecurity/Upper Dublin High School
