EASTERN and Central Penn College Form Articulation Agreement to Benefit Career and Technical Students
Central Penn College and Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN), Willow Grove, Pa., entered into a college credit articulation agreement that will benefit students from EASTERN’s Allied Health, Business and Technology Professional, Networking and Cybersecurity, and Protective Services programs. Students can gain credits for Central Penn courses that will lead to an associate or bachelor’s degree at Central Penn College, maximizing transferable credits and translating to cost savings. This credit provision will apply to all Central Penn College locations.
EASTERN’s Allied Health students could potentially earn credit for Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology I and II, as well as Basic Nutrition. Networking and Cybersecurity students could potentially earn credit for Networking I and II, and Routing and Switching. Business and Technology Professional students could potentially earn credit for Survey of Windows, and Microcomputer Systems. Protective Services students could potentially earn credit for Principles of Private Security or Criminal Justice.
“This is another great partnership to help our students save time and money in college,” said Dr. Cathleen Plesnarski, EASTERN’s Executive Director. “Central Penn has many programs that are a natural next step for our career and technical students in preparation for a career. This articulation agreement and the newly established dual enrollment agreement with Central Penn help to make college a seamless transition for our students who choose to continue their education.”
