EASTERN and Central Penn College Form Dual Enrollment Partnership to Benefit Career and Technical Students
Central Penn College and Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN), Willow Grove, Pa., entered into a Dual Enrollment Agreement, allowing EASTERN students the opportunity to take courses at Central Penn College, offering in-person and online courses. These courses will be taught by Central Penn College staff and available to EASTERN students at their Summerdale campus, Lancaster Center, and online.
Central Penn College will allow EASTERN to review a course syllabus to ensure that the course is appropriate to recommend and/or provide concurrent enrollment credit for its students. These dual enrollment opportunities will cost EASTERN students $350 for a 3-credit course and $450 for a 3-credit course with a 1-credit lab, with an additional charge for books. The agreement will save EASTERN students up to $1,000 in tuition costs per course. EASTERN programs that can benefit from this agreement include Allied Health, Business and Technology, Networking and Cybersecurity, and Protective Services.
“We are thrilled to offer our students another opportunity to save money on their college education,” said Mr. Joseph Greb, EASTERN’s Assistant Director. “Central Penn is a natural transition for so many of our students, and to be able to offer classes concurrently while attending EASTERN is a unique head start for those who qualify.”
