    EASTERN Recognized 171 Students at May Awards Ceremony

    On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, EASTERN held its annual Awards Night, at Upper Moreland High School. This year, 171 students were recognized with $47,220 awarded for academic and technical achievement. EASTERN is grateful to the EASTERN Foundation for their fundraising efforts, and to all EASTERN staff, award sponsors, contributors, advisory committee members, and local businesses for helping EASTERN honor its outstanding students.

    Outstanding Career and Technical Students recognized as new inductees in the National Technical Honor Society

    Outstanding Career and Technical Students at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) were honored on May 10, 2023, as the newest inductees into the National Technical Honor Society, the honor society for Career & Technical Education (CTE). Twenty students were inducted for membership based on their skill development and academic achievement in their Career & Technical courses.

    EASTERN Students Win at SkillsUSA State Competition

    Twenty-four students from Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) in Willow Grove attended the SkillsUSA State Competition in Hershey, PA from April 12 through April 14, 2023. Students from all over Pennsylvania took part in the competition. SkillsUSA is a national student leadership organization that encourages students to be productive individuals in our democratic society, work to their potential, become responsible, be proud of their accomplishments and be supportive of their community.

    Forty-nine students from the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) participated in skill areas or leadership at the SkillsUSA District Competitions held on January 11, 19, 31, and Feb. 1, 2023. Gold Medal winners will compete at April’s State championship.
