Meet Your ESR Instructor

Ms. Shelley Helm

Shelley Helm has been selected as the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) Exercise Science and Rehabilitation Instructor, starting the 2022 – 2023 school year. Ms. Helm comes to EASTERN with a passion for fitness and athletic safety, as well as 18 years of professional experience in the field ranging from working as a high school athletic trainer to a Sports Medicine Supervisor to a Sports Medicine Manager serving facilities in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Previous to EASTERN, Ms. Helm worked for ATI Physical Therapy maintaining contracts with various school districts and mentoring new employees while helping them grow within the company.  Ms. Helm received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, with a minor in Nutrition from West Chester University. She is a certified athletic trainer and also holds certifications for First Aid, CPR, and AED for the Professional Rescuer.
