Construction Careers and Management

Interested in gaining hands-on skills across multiple building trades? EASTERN’s newest program, Construction Careers and Management, might be the perfect fit for you! The program will give juniors and seniors from Eastern Montgomery County hands-on experience in carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, project management, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications.


 • Career Pathways:

The program prepares students for entry-level employment as Facilities Managers, Supervisors- Housekeeping and Janitorial Workers, Supervisors – Construction Trades, and Maintenance and Repair Workers.


 • Postsecondary/Advanced Placement:

Students have continued their education at Penn College of Technology, Williamson College of the Trades, Philadelphia Technician Training Institute, Orleans Technical College, and Bucks County Community College.


 • Industry Certifications:

S/P2 – Construction, an online certification that teaches safety and career readiness skills, OSHA 10 – Construction, and Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) Skills Certification (Students meeting PBA criteria on the NOCTI will be awarded this designation and included on an employer’s database)
