EASTERN Alumna Spotlight: Olga Stylianou, Computer Networking Administration Grad
NCS grad from 2016

Olga Stylianou, a 2016 graduate of Upper Moreland High School and the Computer Networking Administration program (now known as Networking and Cybersecurity) at the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN is currently a Technical Support Account Manager at Phenom, an Intelligent Talent Experience Software Company. She earned her degree in Management Information Systems from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2019.

After graduating college, Olga took time to find the right opportunity. During her college years, she interned with the Philadelphia Phillies. Later, a former colleague who had joined Phenom reached out and encouraged her to consider a role at the growing tech company.

“My favorite part of my job is helping my customers,” said Olga. “In my role, I provide technical support to help clients effectively use our product and work through any challenges. Building strong partnerships is key—we have great relationships with our clients, and I feel comfortable reaching out and having open, honest conversations. One of our core values is curiosity, which really resonates with me. I'm constantly asking questions, solving problems, and thinking outside the box.”

EASTERN’s Computer Networking Administration program, along with SkillsUSA—EASTERN’s student leadership organization—helped prepare Olga for her future. “SkillsUSA was huge,” said Olga, who competed in the Interview competition. “It taught me how to ask questions, be prepared, and work well with others. In my job now, those skills are essential. EASTERN also did a great job fostering connections between different programs.”

While attending EASTERN, Olga was selected for the Technology Services summer internship. “I had the opportunity to work with the Technology Manager and get to know the teachers, staff, and administrators,” said Olga. “Working with more experienced professionals taught me a great deal.”

Olga remains a strong advocate for career and technical education, as does her husband, who works as an electrician. The couple recently celebrated their one-year anniversary.
