Consideration may be given to an individual requesting admission to EASTERN Practical Nursing Program based on documented credentials (official College/University transcripts).  If you have taken College A&P I & II with C+ or above within the last three (3) years, you may be exempt from taking A&P at our school.

Clock to Credit Hour Conversion:

  • One semester/trimester credit hour must include 30 clock hours (30:1)
  • Quarter hour must include at least 20 clock hours of instruction (20:1)
  • Outside hours and/or homework are NOT factored in the conversion
  • Results of conversion calculation can never be rounded up, decimals are accepted

EASTERN’s Practical Nursing program is measured in clock hours, not credit hours.  New clock to credit hour conversion as per the U. S. Department of Education (July 1, 2021).
