Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) 2016 ComputerOlga Stylianou seated at a computer Network  Administration/Upper Moreland High School alumni, Olga Stylianou, is completing her summer internship at Willow Computer Services, Inc. She is building servers, computers, and performing monthly maintenance and server backups. Olga will be returning to Indiana University of Pennsylvania as a sophomore. In January, she will be a junior due to the college credit earned through the dual enrollment partnership between EASTERN and Montgomery County Community College.

Olga’s EASTERN Computer Network Administration Instructor, Karon Crickmore, heard about this internship opportunity from Robert Dyke, owner of Willow Computer Services and EASTERN Computer Network Administration Occupational Advisory Committee member. Mr. Dyke was looking for a few promising interns to join his team over the summer. Willow Computer Services, Inc. has extensive expertise in applications for businesses, government and other organizations in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

“I chose to recommend Olga for his internship because she was an amazing student at EASTERN, and she continues to give back to the school by addressing the current Computer Network Administration students on college and career opportunities,” said Karon Crickmore, EASTERN’s Computer Network Administration Instructor.

In EASTERN’s Computer Network Administration program students must pass the Certified Linux Administrator (CLA) exam in the first year of the program, and are prepared for other industry certification exams including Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS).
