ServSafe Certification

Checking food temperature, Safe food preparation lecture and hand washing.ServSafe® Certification 8+8

The ServSafe® program is the industry standard for implementing and maintaining food safety systems. It was developed by the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association. Upon successful completion of the course consisting of 8 hours in class, 8 hours of home study and passing the certification exam, you will receive the ServSafer certificate.

ServSafe® Re-Certification

You must renew your ServSafe® Certification every three years. Students must attend both session in order to receive re-certification (Philadelphia County requires students to take the 16 hour or 8+8 certification optiion classes.)
