What is an Occupational Advisory Committee?

We are seeking local business and industry volunteers!

Occupational Advisory Committees (OACs) are established and members are appointed by the Executive Advisory Committee (EAC). These committees make specific recommendations to the EAC for their area and the EAC makes recommendations to the Joint Committee. Committees are guided by the Occupational Advisory Committee Handbook.

The OAC is relied upon to establish curriculum, establish performance standards and recommend tools and equipment. Members of the OAC are a valuable resource to the instructor in planning instructional activities for all of our programs.
