If it's been awhile since you had Algebra or the metric system, then we can help refresh your skills. The class covers the basics of adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, percents, ratios then moves onto the more difficult algebra and the metric system.
Classes meet two nights per week for four weeks. Fee: $210.00

This introductory course will teach addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and decimals as it relates to electricity. You will also learn to perform these operations on simple and compound fractions and signed numbers. Calculation of percentages, simplification of fractions and solving basic algebraic equations and inequalities are also included.
At the completion of this course, you will understand algebraic equations, construction and use of basic formulas, geometric nomenclature, angular measurements, weights, measures, conversion factors, formulas for HVAC and electronics and familiarity with basic trigonometric functions and their use.
