Enhanced Emissions Inspector Certification (E.E.I.C.)

This section certifies you to perform the PA emissions inspections and includes 16 hours of instruction, a written test and a computer-based test (CBT). Fee includes the Inspector Reference Guide and a CBT practice CD-ROM. You must have a valid driver's license and be able to read, write and understand English.  Classes run two (2) nights per week for two (2) weeks, 6:00 - 10:00 pm.   Fee: $195.00

Your PA Emissions Inspector Certification must be renewed every two years. This required class consists of a two-hour intensive review and update of the PA emissions standards and a one-hour written exam. The fee includes an Inspector Recertification Manual that you should pick up for review before the class.  Classes run one night per month, 6:00 - 10:00 pm.   Fee: $85.00
